Recommended #3: jGO
Score: 88/100

This product contains a very good formulation, but includes ingredients that are unnecessary in our opinion. The cost of the product may be elevated because the company appears to be using multi level marketing strategies (MLM).

What Causes Aging

If you take care of your body, you can live a healthy life. It is true as you grow older the risk of disease is higher, but, scientific research has proven strategies that can help keep your body healthier. Your life span and qaulity of life depend largely on the way you live and what you put into your body. The following is an explanation of what may cause aging.

The Free Radical Theory: The theory of free radicals and aging was first introduced by Denham Harman, M.D. in 1956. Since this introduction, this theory has claimed acceptance by many scientists.

A free radical can be defined as an unpaired electron. Electrons like to form pairs which creates biochemical stability. When these electrons do not have pair, they become highly unstable and steal the first electron they can find. This can create a chain reaction of events that may be harmful for your body.

Antioxidants: These are the substances with spare electrons that they donate to free radicals. This halts the chain reaction caused by a free radical. Antioxidants include nutrients like: Vitamin A, E, and C. If these nutrients are not available, our cells and tissue may be damaged from the free radicals. This damage contributes to aging and is associated with a higher risk of disease.

Research & Alternative Solutions

As mentioned above, free radical damage can cause a multitude of problems, but can be avoided. As we grow older, our body becomes more susceptible to free radicals. To circumvent the production of excess free radicals, you should follow these steps:

  1.  Avoid Sunburns- Exposure to environmental free radicals such as ultraviolet light that causes sun burns can result in an increase in free radicals.

  2. Stress Reduction- Studies have shown that an increase in physical and emotional stress stress can cause free radicals to form.

  3. Antioxidants- Taking antioxidants and trace minerals such as Vitamin A, E, C, and Selenium are important components to supporting skin, regulating reproduction, boosting the immune system, and creating a barrier from the outside world.

Above, we have listed products that contain the most beneficial vitamins and minerals. These products usually contain a comprehensive blend of ingredients that is useful for slowing the aging process.
